We are APPROVED!!!!

We got an email from our agency today that we are approved for a 0-2 year old! We are thrilled! We turned in our dossier almost a year ago and have been having a lot of anxiety about not getting approved. We feel like a big weight has been lifted off our shoulders.

So now we settle in for the long wait. So how long will it be until we get our child? Well, we are hoping three years from now, it could be shorter or longer. The ICBF is giving referrals now for parents who who were approved for an infant in July 2005. They have been giving out those referrals for July '05 for a few months now. Things slow down and speed up so it's difficult to predict just when we will get our child.
