It's Official - We're Leaving on Saturday!
We just talked to our adoption coordinator and everyone involved thinks it would be best if we continued on with our plans for leaving on Saturday!!!!!!We found out that the region that we're adopting from isn't quite as on strike as many of the other regions. The court system in that region is certainly not shut down though it is running slower. However, the whole thing should be over tomorrow or soon next week, plus we're not due in court until the very end of September.
Our agency has several full time folks in Colombia that work very closely with the ICBF, the Colombian governmental agency that we're working directly with to facilitate Elkin's adoption.
So enough of that...

We have been gone for a few days and got home to day to see the wonderful news!! Like I said He brought you to it and He will see you through it!!!! I will be praying for a non complicated process, so that you can HUG your little boy very soon , and of course for a safe trip. Will you have a laptop with you? will we get any updates while you are gone??? I just cant wait, You two must just be busting with excitement!!! Have a safe flight! This is such an exciting time in your lives!! The best advice is just kick and enjoy your time in Colombia. Enjoy your son and the time that you all get to spend just with eachother with no distractions!!!
