Bebé Sueño

For those that don't know or don't know us, we've decided to adopt a baby from the country of Colombia. This is our first child and obviously our first adoption so we're nervous, excited, happy... just about everything rolled in to one. This is going to be a LONG process but we can't wait!

We figured the best way to keep everyone informed of what's up with our adoption was to start a blog (doesn't everybody do that?). We'll update this post every time there is some milestone (paperwork completed, important news, etc... oh yea - and that BABY PICTURE we're waiting on) but we'll make a bigger post on the blog when there's something to talk about.

Bebé Sueño literally means "baby dream" - corny yes (you wouldn't believe the blog names already taken!) and not proper Spanish but hey, it's short. We needed something that made at least a little sense.

Feel free to comment on any post - we'll do our best to reply to each one. We're on day one of this process as we're writing this so we're certainly not adoption experts but if you have any questions that you think we might be able to answer, go ahead and ask. We imagine we'll get a little smarter about this as time goes on (yea, three years ought to do it!).
